The Beauty of Fantasia Barrino

I have fallen behind most of the goings on and trends in the last 20 years or so, and Fantasia has been one of them. I don't know how to get this going, but I was late to the her party, getting acquainted her years after her X-Factor appearance and the ensuing fame. Here's an example. That should be American Idol, not X-Factor, which goes to prove my point. For those who don't know American Idol is the (obviously) Americah version of Britain's X Factor. We wuz first.

I am not quite sure what drew to her videos, but I came across a number of them starting with When I See You. What strikes me about her videos is the style, which seems to underpin the effort her production team put in to show her at her best. I don't know if her appearance makes her easy to work with, or it is just the production teams love of her being, how she inspires them or the ease with which she draws out the best in them.

Hers are the only videos I remember having ever looked at repeatedly just for the visuals and to drink in her beauty.

Is Fantasia an Asante woman? When I listen to her around 3:20 - 3:30 where she goes Just want somebody to love me yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah I could swear that the woman has switched from English to Twi. Is this atavism or not? Watch the way she pouts her lower lip.
